Script development and SAP 3-tier landscape: Does GuiXT have a typical flow of transport in the three tier landscape environment (development -> test -> production)?
Most customers use SAP Web Repository or SAP Mime repository to store their scripts.

Typically, the transportation flow is as follows:

- For developing scripts you use a local directory on your PC.

- Next you check-in the changed / new scripts in SAPW / SAPMR in your development system, making them available to other developers

- During the check-in, an SAP transport request is created

You may release the transport request at any time and start the transport in the sequence

Development system -> Test -> Production

Here the same mechanisms are valid as for other development objects of the SAP system.
